White Rain and her Answer

by ~Aeon018

Rain falls from a cracking, flashing sky,

And pulsating blades drag me to sleep;

Drag me deep into sleep.

Plagued by the strangest dreams,

Reality's torn at it's seams.

A clearing deep in the wood,

Leaves colored by Autumn's good.

(They're) crunching under my feet,

Mine and all the rest.

Some I know and others I don't,

But the conversation is good.

Accidentally I uncover white noise,

When I inquire (how we got here.)

Mostly anger and denial, but some smile.

The truth they've thrown to the wind,

Still lives in their eyes and I see.

See through the fog of dreams.

Screeching spins wake my eyes to the cracking sky.

The strangest dreams taught me a thing;

They taught me denial is hell,

And like leaves crunching underfoot,

Heaven is what you make it.

When you finally accept it.

Still definitely a work in progress, the title is a little iffy as well. Figured I'd put it up anyway. Why not?
